My husband, Jeff, and I have had pets off and on all of our lives. We had an 11 year old female black lab, Allie, who recently passed away. She got along well with other dogs and she loved short walks around the neighborhood. She is truly missed. We’ve been dog sitting through Rover for about 5 years now and have really enjoy it. We’ve made many new furry friends and are excited when we get returning guests. I work from home so I am here most of the day and I have a very flexible schedule. We have a small fenced yard and nice sidewalked streets to walk on. We would love to meet you and your pet to see if you feel comfortable with us taking care of your pet for you while you need to be away from him. Just moved to South Carolina, followed grandkids, but we had many happy pups in Texas and Georgia before that.

My older pup had a safe and loving vacation when staying with Ruth. She communicated daily and sent pictures of my happy guy! Looking forward to the next vacation knowing he has a safe place to stay when mommas away!

Schedule
I’m currently retired so usually available for whatever schedule your dog is used to. I will need to know if he/she can be left alone for short periods of time if I need to run to the store.

We have a small back yard which we hope to have fenced soon. Dogs are not allowed outside unleaded (until we get the back yard fenced).
A typical day
We live in a great neighborhood for dog walks - plenty of sidewalks, trees and shade. Also, please bring your dogs’ favorite toys to play with.
