Flexible, Safe, Loving Caregiver
Hi, I’m Ruthie. I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I started my experience with animal care with my many childhood pets, including a cat, dog, budgies, fish, and a tortoise. I started pet-sitting at age 12, where I would care for my neighbors' pets when they went on vacation. I would feed, walk/ relieve, and always give cuddles to the pet(s) when possible. I have lots of recent experience taking care of dogs and cats long-term, both in my home and house-sitting. I am currently living in the South End of Boston and am available for walks, check-ins, and housesitting. I have a car and am willing to travel a reasonable distance, and could transport your pet if that was ever necessary.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in your home, I treat it like it’s my own. I always leave a space clean and exactly as I found it. In terms of how a day is structured, I wake up pretty early and can take dogs out right away. After taking care of the basics, I take them out for a walks and play outside. At night, I’ll curl up with them (if that’s their style!) and take care of final needs before bedtime.

Schedule
I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, so I am flexible to do walks or check-ins throughout the day Friday-Monday. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are a little less flexible, but I’m happy to help out early mornings (before 8am) or evenings (after 6pm-ish). I am available for house sitting Thursday through Monday night. Please feel free to reach out if I can be of any help, and I look forward to meeting your furry friends!
