I can be available to stay nights and be present in the early morning. I work a 8-5 part time job during the week, so I typically can only do morning and dinner feedings on days I work. However, Friday through Saturday I can do lunch feedings as well!

A typical day
Walking is my favorite activity for your best friend! I make sure to let the dog exercise his/her senses as we walk and keep a good pace. I also love to play fetch and utilize puzzles with treats.

Pet care experience
For the past 4 years, while I have been in college, I have often house sat for family and neighbors. I have experience taking care of senior labs with health complications and puppies. Caring for the senior labs taught me to be very attentive to their needs, being sure to notice indications for further assistance. I have experience addressing seizures and working with the assigned vet in emergency situations. I am also accustomed with more complex diets and/or prescriptions for animals. When caring for puppies, I am good with prioritizing time for proper exercise as the owner recommends, and being present as a safe companion.

Ruth did an amazing job of taking care of our senior dog, Rocko. She spent the night at our house so that Rocko wouldn't get lonely. She provided daily updates, pictures, and short videos. She also kept our house very clean! Importantly, there was no evidence that Rocko had had any accidents in the house (no smells or stains), which means Ruth was there to take him outside when needed. Rocko was healthy and content when we came home. We would definitely use Ruth again!

I cannot recommend Ruth enough!! She took such wonderful care of Delta, and her previous expertise was evident. She was very attentive from the moment she came over for our meet and greet, an excellent communicator during her stay (and dog photographer), and was creative in getting Delta to take her medicine. It was such a pleasure to meet her, and our Delta loved having Ruthie take care of her!! I will definitely be booking Ruth again! 💜🐶
