I am available all day most Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with some availability on the weekends. During the school year, my availability will mostly be on the weekends, though I will be available during school breaks and holidays.

Every pet is an individual, and as such I look forward to learning much about your pet. Likes and dislikes, temperament, favorite spots, health, routine, friends, etc.
A typical day
Days I spend with pets are often attuned to their own needs and personalities. I like to make sure that each experience works for each different dog. That being said, long walks through interesting locations are a standard, along with stops for activities, refueling, and breaks. Ideally our time together fits seamlessly into your pet's daily routine.

Growing up with dogs all around was and continues to be a fun and deeply rewarding experience. I have cared for dogs (and cats, etc.) since I was a kid, and still often take care of family and friends' pets. Providing enrichment and engagement, anticipating and caring for needs, wrangling wily actors, managing space and time in a positive attitude, and thinking and acting flexibly, attuned to diverse and changing needs, are not only things required from a good dog walker - these are tasks I complete daily as a middle school teacher.

I would unhesitatingly recommend Russell for your pet care needs. He possesses all of the characteristics that make for a wonderful caregiver: kind, flexible, communicative, punctual, and reliable. I have a needy terrier, Holly, and he has done a wonderful job caring for her when I need someone for quick drop-ins and longer-term arrangements alike. Holly can be pretty nervous, but she absolutely adores him and is always happy and relaxed when I come home. So, if you won't take it from me, take it from her!
Russ has watched our pets - three dogs and a cat -whenever we leave for long days and vacations for five years. He is responsible for providing walks, hikes and playtime for the dogs. When our most recent Great Pyrenees was a puppy he helped trained her. Two dogs need medication and he is able to safely administer meds on schedule . He is a loving and responsible dog caregiver.
