Russell provided my mini Sheepadoodle Sophie with a perfect day. She was happy and well taken care of. When Her raincoat was left there he tried numerous times to return it; unfortunately, my email was locked and I didn’t get the message on time. He is now mailing the raincoat to my home. I highly recommend Russell to anyone needing a dog sitter in Santa Fe.

Can’t say enough good things about Russel. We recently got married in Santa Fe, and as non-locals who travelled with our dogs, we wanted someone we knew that we could trust to be with the boys while we got married. Russel was the best ever and made us, and our golden retrievers, feel immediately at ease. 10/10 recommend if you need a trustworthy dog sitter!

Russell was the perfect sitter for our dog while we were away for a week! He sent photo updates at least once a day, if not more! Our dog is elderly, but Russell had no problem adapting to his needs, and he came home calm and happy- it was clear that he was very happy and very well cared for. We will definitely use Russell again and I’d happily recommend him to anyone who needs high quality care and love for their pup!

Russell provided great care for our dog Blizzy! He was quick to respond to not only our inquiry, but also with photos and communication throughout the stay. We were able to visit the home at drop off and asked questions around Blizzy's diet, allergies, toy preference, behaviors; the care to detail was obvious. Would absolutely use him again to watch our Pets! Thanks again Russell!

Russell grew up with loving dog companions and learned early in life about the responsibilities and privileges of dog care. He is devoted to his 3 year old Portuguese Water dog: taking him for long runs, mountain hiking, swimming, and participating in a play group for dogs. He has carefully trained his dog to be an excellent canine community citizen and reading therapy dog at our library. He knows how to consistently and lovingly set expectations and boundaries using positive reinforcement. He is always proactive in keeping dogs safe, healthy, and happy. In short, Russell is extremely professional, caring, reliable, responsible and safe. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Russell is a fantastic dog sitter! He ensures the dogs get proper exercise- offering to take dogs on hikes or runs! He was able to take my dog out for an 8 mile run (which my dog LOVED)! He also takes them to Patrick Smith Park, if they like to socialize with other dogs- right down the street from him. I love that he is able to work from home to give the dogs attention 24/7.
