I've had dogs as pets for basically my entire life. All kinds including chihuahuas, boxers, and sheep dogs. I've also taken care of dogs, both young and old, with various health issues.

Russell is exactly the kind of person you want watching your fur kiddo. He is attentive, patient, and is quick to bond with dogs. He helped care for my elderly dog several times and I have been fortunate to see him around his own dog and cat a few times. He’s got lots of urban and trail-walking miles under his belt and is good at navigating situations where there are leashed and non-leashed dogs in the mix.

Schedule
I'm currently taking a hiatus from my academic career and am available any time of the day and all week. Please give me ample notice as I'm often traveling for extended periods.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I'm available to take your dog(s) on walks and to do drop-ins at your home for both cats and dogs. Common pet sitting duties including simple social interactions, feeding/providing water, and potty breaks. I've also taken care of dogs/cats with various health issues, but please let me know in advance.
Pets
A typical day
I can take high energy dogs out to play fetch, to the dog park to get their zoomies out, or on a longer hike up the L trail. Older or more relaxed dogs I can take to Greenough or on simple neighborhood walks. I'm also available to do drop ins if needed to provide additional social interaction and/or food/water.
