Doggy Day Care • Oct 08, 2025

Rupali did an excellent job of watching our dogs for doggy day care. She sent several photos and videos. She has a large fenced in yard and both my dogs loved playing there with her dog. My one dog that does not easily take to new people took to rupali within a few minutes - as evidenced by offering her belly for belly rubs.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine, carefully planned to ensure each pet’s needs are fully met. Here’s how it fits: 1. Dedicated Time Blocks: I schedule time throughout the day specifically for pet sitting, ensuring I’m available for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care routines pets need. 2. Morning and Evening Walks: My mornings typically begin with dog walks or playtime, helping pets get their energy out early. I also incorporate evening walks or calming activities to wind down their day. 3. Flexible Availability: I structure my day to remain flexible for last-minute bookings or check-ins, allowing me to adapt to the pet’s needs and any changes in the owner’s schedule. 4. Regular Check-ins and Care: Whether working from home or running errands, I build breaks into my schedule for regular check-ins, ensuring pets receive consistent attention and care throughout the day. 5. Balanced Life: Pet care is a rewarding part of my day, and I find that giving pets the love and attention they need enhances my own daily routine, creating balance and joy in my life. By weaving pet care into my everyday activities, I maintain reliability while ensuring pets always receive the best possible care.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in my home, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for them. Here’s how I approach it: 1. Pet-Proofed Space: I ensure my home is pet-proofed, removing any potential hazards and providing safe, designated areas for pets to explore and relax. 2. Comfortable Sleeping Arrangements: I offer cozy spaces for pets to rest, whether they prefer a quiet corner, a soft bed, or their own crate, respecting their comfort and habits. 3. Routine and Structure: I maintain the pet’s usual feeding, walking, and playtime schedule to provide consistency and reduce anxiety while they’re in a new environment. 4. Interactive Playtime: I engage pets in regular play, offering toys and activities to stimulate them mentally and physically, ensuring they stay active and entertained. 5. Safe Outdoor Access: If the pet enjoys outdoor time, I provide supervised access to a secure yard or take them on regular walks, ensuring their safety at all times. 6. Attention to Special Needs: For pets with specific needs (medications, dietary restrictions, etc.), I follow detailed instructions to ensure their health and well-being are prioritized. 7. Socialization and Companionship: I spend quality time with each pet, offering plenty of affection and interaction to make them feel at home and reduce any separation anxiety. 8. Clean and Hygienic Environment: I maintain a clean space, regularly sanitizing feeding areas, bedding, and toys to ensure pets remain healthy and comfortable throughout their stay. With a focus on comfort, safety, and engagement, I aim to make every pet feel like part of the family while in my care.

Puzzle Toys and Treat Games: I use puzzle toys or hide treats around the house to engage pets’ problem-solving skills and keep them mentally sharp. 3. Outdoor Adventures: For dogs, I offer long walks, park visits, or hikes, giving them a chance to explore new sights and smells, and enjoy nature. 4. Training Games: I incorporate basic obedience training into playtime, reinforcing commands like sit, stay, and come, which helps them stay sharp while having fun. 5. Pet Spa Time: For pets that enjoy pampering, I provide gentle brushing or even a light bath if needed, helping them relax and stay well-groomed. 6. Cuddle Time: For more relaxed pets, I provide lots of affection, lap time, and gentle petting, making sure they feel comforted and loved. By offering a mix of physical activity, mental stimulation, and affection, I make sure pets stay happy, healthy, and entertained throughout their stay!
