I’m not just a pet sitter — I’m a lifelong animal rescuer who has cared for many injured and abandoned animals over the years. I also have 4 years of hands-on experience caring for my own disabled dog, which has taught me advanced skills in patience, mobility support, medication routines, and reading subtle body language.

I live in a 700 sqft pet-friendly apartment, and the entire living room is dedicated to the dogs I care for. This open space gives them plenty of room to explore, play, and relax safely. I keep the area clean, cozy, and free of clutter so pets can move around comfortably.

Rui was fantastic with taking care of my cat Kiki while I was gone on vacation! My cat needs daily medication, and she was able to give it to her on time, as well as tend to all of my cat's other needs. She communicated well with me, especially when there were any concerns. My cat has anxiety and at some point wasn't eating much or using her litter, and Rui reached out right away. Kiki was returned happy and started eating normally pretty quickly. Rui went so far as to pack Kiki's things cleanly and covered in plastic bags so as not to get things dirty. I would definitely book with her again!
This girl is BEYOND amazing. I left my little coco with her when I had to last minute travel to DC for Christmas. Not only did Rui take amazing care of coco, but with every puppy need that coco needed, Rui was on it. She made my little princess feel as comfortable as possible. THEN some unfortunate events happened and I couldn’t make it back in town on time….(airline crap), Rui figured out how to keep coco safe and work with my schedule and her already existing schedule. Please request care from Rui. You and your pet will not regret it. Rui even got coco a little Christmas present while we were gone🎄🥰 i will definitely be requesting her whenever I go out of town
Rui is one of the most caring and compassionate people I’ve ever met. Her own dog, Xihu, receives incredibly attentive, thoughtful care every single day. Whenever her friends travel and need someone they can trust with their pets, Rui is always the first person they call. To my knowledge, she has helped care for four cats and one dog, giving each of them the same love, patience, and dedication she shows her own pet. Anyone would be lucky to have Rui looking after their furry family member.

Schedule
I’m currently preparing for the LSAT full-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I structure my study sessions around the pets I care for, so I’m able to provide consistent attention, long walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Because I study from home, I’m almost always on-site and available. Your pet won’t be left alone for long periods, and I can easily adjust my routine to meet their specific needs — whether that’s frequent potty breaks, slow walks for seniors, or extra cuddle time for anxious pups.
