Over the summer I work as a server and as such would likely be away for 3-4 hour periods usually in the evenings. However, I recognize the attention and care animal caretaking requires and will happily work with you to make sure your pet gets the love and attention needed while you are away.

I am able to take 1-2 animals into my own home with a size constraint on larger pets due to my buildings regulations. I would like to note that I do live in an apartment complex however I am right next to walking and hiking paths. Additionally, I do live with a roommate who is also a huge animal lover. When house sitting, for pets of any size or kind I am always willing to come into your home and will treat such a space with the utmost respect.

A typical day
I love going on hikes and long walks and visiting new parks and what better way to do that then with a furry friend. I aim to engage with your pet both psychically and mentally and would love to play and explore with them.

(My pets listed in my profile do not live with me at my address so if boarding with me your pets will be the only ones in my home.) I have taken care of a multitude of animals from a young age being entrusted with neighbors, family and friend's pets. My experience includes working with dogs (of all sizes and temperaments), cats, rodents, reptiles, goats, rabbits, chickens, horses and birds. I even took care of some wonderful peregrine falcons once. From a young age I worked in animal rehabilitation and have nursed infant animals and enjoy nothing more than being able to spend time and play with such wonderful creatures. I have also taken puppy training classes in the past and plan to have a future career with animals.

We would leave 100 stars for Ruby if we could! Ruby was extremely sweet to work with. She was flexible with plans, attentive to Luigi’s needs, and very active with him while I was away. Every photo I saw of Luigi was one of him smiling or out on an adventure. You could tell he loved being around her and that was the largest comfort while on my trip. She was thoughtful, polite, thorough, and compassionate. We would very much recommend her and will be reaching out to her again for help. Thank you, Ruby! You were so amazing!
Ruby has watched my Labrador when he was a puppy many times, and I wouldn't trust another person with him like I do Ruby. She is so good with animals, so patient, and so trustworthy. She always left my house cleaner than when she got there, and my dog was happy and healthy.
Ruby was fantastic! My dog absolutely loved her!
Ruby is naturally gifted with animals and incredibly responsible. She grew up on conservation land surrounded by dogs, cats,Guinea pigs, pigeons, chickens, rabbits, different types of raptors, and cared for many sick or injured animals. She is a very caring and trustworthy person.
