Pratt student who loves pets!
I have had a cat and dog my entire life and have cared for them before I started college. I began dog walking, dog sitting, and cat sitting when I was 12. My other animal care includes fostering kittens, puppies, and elderly cats with my parents ranging from 1 to 6 pets at a time. I also have volunteered at the ASPCA, and went on a 3-week high school program in Costa Rica where I assisted in neutering and spaying of homeless cats and dogs. If I was not pursuing art, I would be pursuing a field working with animals. I believe that Rover will let me continue my work with animals while at college and I am very excited to begin working for you! I am new to Brooklyn and think dog walking is a great way to explore the area, and get to know it's 4 legged residents :)

Safety, trust & environment
I am able to spend any amount of nights in a client's home. I make sure to write down notes on any important information, as well as keep my phone at hand incase I need to make any phone calls. Since none of my classes are over 5 hours, I am able to visit the dog/cat throughout the day. Since I am living in a dorm where pets are prohibited, I can only provide care for animals in the cient's home.

This is the second time that Ruby Mae has walked and fed our two dogs, and we’ll definitely choose her again! Great communication and very contentious. We appreciate knowing that our pups are well cared for. Highly recommended!

Ruby Mae has provided in-home dog sitting for us for our mid-sized rescue dog who has moderate separation anxiety. She clearly loves dogs and our dog loved her right back! She’s calm and competent with a flexible schedule, which works great for us and our nervous pup. Thanks, Ruby Mae!

Schedule
Since I am a student I have to attend class 4 days out of the week. Saturday and Sunday- I am often available on weekends but would like to know a few days in advance if would like to book. Please note I may not always be available
