Hi, I’m Ruby! I’ve worked in animal welfare for six years and absolutely love animals of all shapes and sizes. I specialize in caring for pets with behavioral challenges like anxiety and reactivity, and have experience with a wide range of breeds, ages, and temperaments. Currently, I work in the behavior department at an animal shelter, where I help support dogs with complex needs. I’m a certified dog trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy, Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and also Fear-Free certified. If your pet has prior training you would like me to help maintain or if there is something you would like me to work on with them, just let me know! I’m also experienced with puppies, seniors, and pets with medical conditions, including mobility issues, diabetes, and seizure disorders. I have experience with a wide range of exotic species as well, including but not limited to rats, guinea pigs, snakes and livestock.
