Hi, I’m Ruby! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up in 4-H, where I spent 8 years showing, grooming, and training dogs, and that experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how to care for pets of all personalities. Over the years, I’ve also provided pet sitting and house sitting for families in my community—everything from cuddly couch-pups to energetic working breeds. I truly love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while their people are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, grooming, or just keeping up with their routine, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. Ruby was amazing with my young Golden! He was so excited to see her when she arrived. I recently had surgery and haven’t been able to walk him, so it was such a relief knowing he could get out and burn some energy beyond the backyard — especially on Thanksgiving day! Ruby was right on time and even sent me a photo. Highly recommend!
You know you had a good sitter when your pups are looking for them when you get home. Ruby and co were amazing! My pups absolutely love her. She's very attentive and showed my pups so much love. I'll definitely use her services again.

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I work part-time with flexible hours from home, which gives me plenty of availability to check in, go for walks, or stay overnight when needed. I naturally build my day around pet care—morning and evening walks, playtime, feeding, and downtime—so keeping pets on their regular schedule is something I’m very comfortable with. Because my schedule is flexible, I can adapt to each pet’s needs, whether that’s daily visits, extended stays, or simply being a consistent presence to make them feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away.

I care for pets like they’re my own! In your home, I stick to their usual routine—meals, walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles—so they feel safe and comfortable. I’m flexible and attentive, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. My goal is always to keep tails wagging and make sure they’re happy while you’re away.
A typical day
I love tailoring activities to each pet’s personality! For energetic dogs, that might mean long walks, fetch, or tug-of-war. For more mellow pups, I’m happy to hang out in the yard, give belly rubs, or enjoy a cozy cuddle session. Cats get playtime with their favorite toys (or just a comfy lap if that’s more their style!). My goal is always to keep them active, engaged, and feeling loved while having fun. 🐾
