While I do live in an apartment, I am at a pet-friendly apartment with plenty of cats and dogs who live here. There are great places nearby in Boulder to go on walks, as well as easy access for them to go outside as I am on the second floor and can let them out easily when needed.

A typical day
Since I will no longer be going to class, my days will be completely open. There are plenty of places for me to take the pets on walks near me as there are parks, trails, and I have easy access to take them right outside of my apartment complex.

Pet care experience
I have had two dogs, one sadly passed away when I was just in 5th grade, but I have had another dog since then for the past 7 years. She is my best friend and taking care of her doesn't feel like a daunting task, but a labor of love. She does not live with me as she is with my parents back home in Illinois and I am in Boulder for college. As well, the last two years my roommate had two different cats whom I would take care of often, and I get along with them very well. For a short period of time a few years ago, I would also volunteer at a dog shelter nearby when I lived in Illinois. I adore animals and want the best for them.

Ruby is an AMAZING dog sitter. She sent so many cute pictures and clearly was just totally dedicated to making sure Xena had a fun and relaxing time. She even kept a journal of the things they did together, which made me so happy to read at the end of Xena’s stay. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog sitter and would absolutely hire her again!
