While I haven’t officially been in charge of someone else’s pet (yet!), animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently live with five dogs and four cats—yes, it’s as chaotic and furry as it sounds. I’ve grown up surrounded by pets, so things like feeding routines, cleaning up messes, giving meds, and decoding weird animal behavior are second nature. I know how to respect their space, match their energy, and give them love on their terms. Basically, I’m very used to being the human in a house run by animals.

Schedule
I already spend most of my day around animals—feeding them, playing with them, making sure they don’t commit chaos (or at least that they do it safely). Pet care fits naturally into my routine because it is my routine. Whether it’s morning walks, late-night zoomies, or chill cuddle time, I’m used to working my schedule around whatever pets need.

I treat every animal like they’re royalty (or gremlins, if that’s more accurate). Whether I’m in my home or yours, I pay close attention to their needs—making sure they have clean water, the right food, lots of attention, and a safe, calm space. I follow whatever rules or routines they’re used to so they feel secure. I also fully respect boundaries, both yours and your pet’s, and I’ll always communicate clearly so you know how things are going.

A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of playtime, chill time, and snack breaks—basically living the dream. I love chilling in bed all day with a pet sleeping next to me, playing fetch or chase (indoors or out), and giving each pet their version of quality time—whether that’s tug-of-war, sunbathing, or sitting on me like a couch. I also make sure they get downtime, stay hydrated, and follow whatever routine they’re used to so they feel at home, even when they’re not.
