I’m currently taking a gap year, which means I have plenty of free time — and I’d love to spend it caring for your furry friends. I enjoy long walks to nearby fields, rivers, forests, and even the beach, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to join in on adventures.

Information Ruby F. would like to know about your pet

To provide the best possible care, I’ll need to be informed of any health conditions, medications, or behavioural issues in advance. I’ll also require your vet’s contact details and an emergency contact. If you’re currently working on a training plan, I’m happy to continue that during their stay. I’ll also need to know your dog’s daily routine — including mealtimes, dietary requirements, sleeping arrangements, and whether they need to be crated which will all be discussed in a meet and greet prior to the dogsit to help your dog feel as comfortable and at home as possible.

A typical day

There are plenty of great walking routes near my home, including large open fields just a short walk away. A few minutes further down the road, there’s a nature reserve or a walk alongside the river, great for those pups who love to swim! I believe mental enrichment is just as important as physical exercise. During your pet’s stay, I’ll include plenty of mentally stimulating activities like puzzle feeders, scent games, and interactive play to keep their mind active, engaged, and happy. I will also make sure to send daily updates of how your dog is getting on during their time with me!
