Hi there! My name is Ruby, and I was born and raised in Clinton County, MI. Growing up, my family had a variety of pets, including an Old English Bulldog and German Shepherds, which helped shape my love for dogs from an early age. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own since we’re renting, I’m looking to take on opportunities like this to earn some extra income during my final summer before graduating. I absolutely love dogs, have experience pet sitting and staying overnight with pets on multiple occasions, and some of my favorite breeds are Basset Hounds and Golden Retrievers.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always keep in mind that I’m stepping into their space and routine, and that their pet may not know me yet. I make it a priority to take the time to help pets feel comfortable, safe, and at ease by moving at their pace, respecting their routines, and building trust. Whether that means going for walks, keeping feeding schedules consistent, providing playtime, or simply offering companionship, I aim to create a calm and positive experience while making sure your pet feels cared for in a familiar environment.

Schedule
My schedule varies, so I’m using this as an opportunity to help fill in the gaps on a day-to-day basis. At the same time, I’m hoping to build consistent work so I can establish reliable income while also getting to know and build relationships with specific pups over time.
