I am looking to become a team player in your pet family! As a life-long pet owner, I am looking to care for animals as a part time job (however, full time passion), to bring some joy into my life. I am a dedicated, caring, patient, and attentive care-giver. I will treat your animals as if they are my own! I have experience working and loving dogs of all temperaments including; fear reactive dogs, human and dog reactive dogs, resource guarding behaviors, etc. I am a teacher and have a flexible schedule so please reach out to me if you need something booked even if it's not available on my calendar, likely I'll be able to figure something out with you! I am always open to meeting your pet prior to services to see if it's the right match! I want your beloved animal to be 100% comfortable and for you to feel like it's a good fit.

Ruby was phenomenal and I absolutely will be using her again. She was so sweet and communicative and gave my pups lots of love & sent me photos as well. I was in desperate need of a drop in visit as I was traveling for the day and she really saved me. I would highly recommend booking with Ruby, you can tell she truly cares and loves animals!!
Ruby is an absolute doll and my dog loved her! She made me feel so welcome and comfortable in her home, and I just knew I was leaving my dog in extremely capable hands. I will definitely be reaching out to her the next time I need a sitter!!
Ruby did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of my anxious pets when I was away! She walked my great big, but very timid mastiff slowly and reassuringly each day and was able to coax my very nervous cat from under my bed (unheard of!) to play for a few minutes of play each day. Ruby is a wonderfully responsible dog walker/animal care taker. She engages with animals very well and understands the responsibility associated with caring for a dog or another animal. She is kind, warm, energetic, and I’m sure those qualities and more would translate over to her dog walking abilities. She is loving and caring and any dog would be lucky to have her as a dog walker!

Schedule
I'm currently able to provide care on weekday mornings, late afternoons, and evenings. I can provide more extensive care during the weekends. However, my schedule is typically quite flexible and can most likely accommodate requests.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is a top priority for me. As a teacher or young children I understand the complexities and necessity of monitoring environments for consistent safety. My own dog, who unfortunately crossed the rainbow bridge, was fear aggressive and required a constant bond of trust and security. Having a personal experience of dealing with a dog that needed above and beyond attention has given me a deep understanding of what makes animals feel safe.
A typical day
Of course I will make sure to plan your pets care in coordination with your expectations! Walks, active play, mental stimulation are all in my wheelhouse. I am the type of person who will treat your pet like the royal they are, massages, classical music, unlimited belly rubs are all in store.
