Please let me know if you’d like me to feed your dog (including food amounts), the desired walk duration, and whether you’re happy for them to go off-lead in the park or play with other dogs. Also- if bringing them to me please let me know what you will be dropping off with your dog- baskets, food, toys etc.
A typical day
A typical day includes walks around Lloyd Park or Hollow Ponds, and plenty of cuddles and fuss. For puppies I love to play fetch & can work on their recall!

Hi, I’m Ruby! I’m a dog-sitter based in Walthamstow, and previously worked with special educational needs children. I have full availability for pet care :) I have always loved dogs, and have had three lurchers, one border terrier and a fox terrier. I’m experienced in caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, from puppies to senior dogs, and I’m experienced supporting those with unique needs like separation anxiety. I’d love to meet local Walthamstow dogs, and I am happy to tailor my care to their individual needs. I know how much dogs mean to their owners (they are family!) and will follow all your requests to ensure your dog feels safe, happy, and well-loved. Feel free to reach out with any questions ! When I’m not working or spending time with dogs, I study a Law Masters, enjoy yoga, bouldering, going to the gym, art, photography, and seeing live music.

Ruby has looked after our two dogs on many occasions while we were away on holiday or long days at work. She was 100% reliable and we had no doubt she was giving the best possible care. Our two are a bit of a challenge, as we have a senior grumpy old Lurcher boy and a young, energetic, bossy Fox Terrier! Ruby managed all their quirks easily and we came home to happy, well-looked-after doggies.I Highly recommend her for any pet-sitting needs.
Ruby is our go to dog sitter. Our little 5 month old puppy is a bit of a handful but luckily we can rely on Ruby when we want to go out for a longer period of time and have a bit of us time. Ruby is not only really lovely, she’s a loving, caring and responsible person.
