For boarding, the amount of time your dog is left alone will be very minimal since my husband and I work opposite schedules. I have my dogs to take care of too so I’m used to caring for pets. For drop in visits, I can only do so before 7:30am and after 5pm, unless it’s a weekend. My availability can vary on weekends so just reach out and I’ll see if I can help!

I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in and go potty. I’m also able to crate them if necessary. I will feed your pets separately from mine so there are no altercations.

***I only accept dogs that are crate trained. All dogs must be spayed or neutered.*** I would also like to know how old he or she is and what their energy level is. Any certain things to make our time together easier would be greatly appreciated as well.

I’ll take your dogs on walks and let them play with mine depending on their energy levels. We have plenty of toys for them, including enrichment puzzles, as well as a fenced in yard for them to go potty and run around in.

I have had dogs my entire life and seriously don't know a life without them. I have two stubborn, little dachshunds who think they're in charge most of the time. They also have two human sisters who they are very overprotective of (they’re 8 years old and 1 year old). My oldest dachshund had surgery for IVDD a few years ago so I am familiar with administering oral medication and providing needed crate rest. I have experience in taking care of puppies all the way up to the more cranky and older dogs. My husband and I work opposite schedules so there will always be someone home with your pup. I'm responsible, reliable, and I promise to treat your fur babies as if they were my own!

Rubi and her family did a wonderful job caring for our dear dachshund for the ten days we were out of the country! Before we connected with Rubi, we were very nervous about leaving Penny with someone who wouldn’t care well for her or understand significant health circumstances inherent to the dachshund breed. But, after meeting her and her dear family, and every day thereafter, our nervousness changed to confidence that they would take great care of our demanding, headstrong, precious dog. And they did! Thank you, Rubi!
