👋 Hello, my name's Roxy and I live in Morley with my two wonderful children (aka my cats Kupo and Moo Moo❤️). I'm currently studying & training to be a Counsellor /Psychotherapist, and I work part-time in care. I am up-to-date DBS checked. I adopted both of my cats from challenging circumstances - through rehabilitating them I’ve developed a strong understanding of cats and an endless amount of patience for them! I have experience sitting for all kinds of cats, including; shy/anxious cats, territorial cats, cats with medical issues, cats who’ve experienced abuse, senior cats and kittens. I understand that every cat is different and each has their own unique preferences and communication styles. I’m committed to getting to know exactly how your cat ticks, and providing them with a service tailored just to them! (Which my reviews can attest to 😸). I don’t rush my visits - each visit lasts 40 minutes so that I can make certain there’s time for play and their preferred style of attention, whether that’s cuddles, being groomed or simply having someone sit with them and give them company. I know how important stimulation is for cats, especially whilst their owners are away, and I make sure they get it for both their mental and physical health. I don’t charge anything additional for having more than one cat. I care for cats by taking the time to get to know them, not rushing them, and letting them open up around me on their own terms. I make sure all cats receive exercise and stimulation in the form of play, and I take the time to figure out exactly what kind of play they like!

Roxy looked after my cat for 7 days whilst we were on holiday. From the very start she was fantastic with communication, she spent time getting to know me and my cat in our initial visit and ensuring she had a good understanding of his needs, my wishes and how to care for him well. Roxy is clearly very experienced and this shone through! She sent us daily updates, lots of photos ans videos which were lovely to see and my cat was very happy and settled with Roxy. She took time to interact with him each day, no visit was rushed and i felt confident in her care of my special boy. She even watered my garden for me 😌 thank you Roxy! Would definitely recommend and we will 100% be booking with Roxy for future holidays.
Roxy has been super lovely and reliable throughout the booking process. She came for a meet & greet beforehand, she was attentive and gathered lots of info to make sure she understood Lily as much as possible before looking after her. I have received lots of photos and videos throughout the visits and a lovely overview of each visit, which has put my mind as ease. Lily warmed to Roxy immediately, I will definitely be booking with her again - thank you Roxy!
Roxy always takes such good care of my kitty Juno, whilst I am away! I get lovely updates with photos and videos and I can see that Juno is happy and well looked after. Roxy is extremely reliable and always make time to get to know Juno's routine and her likes and dislikes, and that's really important to me.
As always, Roxy went above and beyond in caring for my cat Ernie. The only downside is that he now demands the same attention from me! Roxy will always be my first choice when I need a catsitter.
As always, Roxy went above and beyond to ensure my cat was happy while I was away. She sent wonderful videos and pictures after each visit so I was very reassured.
Incredible sitter from start to finish: friendly, organised, conscientious, a true cat person who understands their needs & went above and beyond to give them lots and lots of play time & care at each visit and we were treated to brilliantly detailed updates daily & welcomed home by 2 healthy, happy, calm and completely unbothered kitties 😻🙌🥰

Schedule
I don’t have set work hours, and Catsitting is one of my main sources of income - it’s not just a side hustle for me! I work in care part-time and am studying my Masters to become a Psychotherapist. Because of this, I have good flexibility to see your cats at various times.
- CatsRoxy can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- It’s really important for me to get a sense of what your cat’s like before you go away, and we can do this at the meet and greet. This includes their preferences for touch, treats and play, if they have any allergies or medical needs, how they prefer to interact with humans, and what their feeding schedule is like.
