Attentive Care for Very Good Dogs
With 30 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, the occasional hamster, bird, fish, turtle… I offer calm, attentive and highly personalized care to a small number of clients. I’m selective about fit and work best with friendly, well-mannered pets whose owners value reliability and communication. Walks are unrushed and tailored to your dog’s pace, energy and comfort. Pet sitting follows their established routine, with affection, enrichment and regular photo updates. I prefer building trusted, ongoing relationships with a few wonderful dogs rather than filling my calendar with as many bookings as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety, comfort and normal routine come first. During walks and care in your home, I follow your instructions carefully, double-check doors, gates, collars and harnesses, and never allow dogs off leash in unsecured areas. I provide calm, individual attention rather than large group outings or pack walks. I respect your home, communicate clearly and send regular photos and updates. Before our first booking, I prefer a meet-and-greet and complete information about your dog’s health, behaviour, veterinarian and emergency contact.

Schedule
Pet care is a deliberately limited part of my weekly schedule. I accept only a small number of bookings so I can be punctual, present and unhurried with each dog. I’m available for scheduled walks and planned pet sitting, with advance bookings preferred. A meet-and-greet helps us confirm that your dog, their routine and my care style are a good fit.

- Please tell me anything that helps me understand your dog before we head out together: their normal routine, temperament, favourite things, fears, medical or mobility needs, leash behaviour and how they react to other dogs, people, wildlife or traffic. I also appreciate knowing their commands and any situations or behaviours you prefer I avoid.
