Family of animal lovers!
Hi there! We’ve owned dogs and/or cats, and even a bird or two most of our lives, so we adore animals. We currently have 1 orange tabby cat and a very sweet Australian Retriever dog. We’ve been doing Rover for several years now, and recently moved from Knoxville, Tennessee, though I am a Traverse city native. We treat our pets like one of the family, and we will treat yours the same way! Generally, we prefer to board just one dog at a time, but may occasionally have an overlap of another dog in care, if we feel they will be a good fit. We will care for one or two cats from the same family and can keep them separated from our cat, if needed. Please, no dogs that are aggressive towards cats and new clients booking more than two overnights must book a daycare visit prior, to ensure everyone will be happy 😁. Looking forward to meeting you all!

Roxanne was an amazing caregiver for our lab with separation anxiety. She went above and beyond - took him on outings, sent updates, and made him part of the family for 5 days. Her dog was fantastic with him too. I’m not sure he was that excited to see us when we picked him up! 😂 We’ll definitely send him to “summer camp” at Roxanne’s if we’re in the area again.
Our Bella had a great time and was very well taken care of! Roxanne was easy to communicate with and very responsive. She sent pictures and updates that gave us peace of mind. Would definitely recommend her!

Schedule
I recently took a M-F 9-5 job, but my husband, Paul is retired and always home. Your baby would get lots of attention and love with us.

I have a fully fenced yard and we love to go on walks or visits to the nearby dog park. We have many toys to play with, and potty trained, cat-friendly dogs are allowed the run of the house!

A typical day
Our dog Bella is very sweet and would love a friend to play with. She has the best time and is very good with other dogs. We love to play fetch, tug of war, or snuggle on the couch. We often go for a walk around our neighborhood.
