I would treat your dog or cat like my own. I love animals, especially dogs and cats. In fact, it breaks my heart when I see that a dog or cat has been abused or abandoned. I am very responsible and observant. I have had experience with having my own dogs and cats all of my life. I have been doing Rover for seven years now. The dogs been small and big, pure bred and mixed. I have also watched cats. I volunteered at an animal shelter in Topeka while I was in high school. My job was to walk the dogs, play with them and clean their kennels. I have taken care of my neighbors' and friend’s pets. I also worked part time with senior adults and took care of their dogs. I would feed their dogs and take them for walks. In addition, I would play with their dogs, take them to be groomed and administer medicine to them. I also noticed when one dog was not healthy and reported it. I am retired from my full time job so I am available to stay nights with your dog or cat. Walking your dog would be great exercise for me and your dog. We could also go in my car to a dog park. Some of my friends call me the "dog whisperer" because dogs can sense that I am very comfortable around them. I am patient and kind. You can trust me to care for your dog and it will be a great experience!
