Rowan has been a life changing force to my dogs and me. I took on two difficult dogs (foster fails) from the high kill shelters and they had separation anxiety, lack of food drive, horrible leash skills, escape tactics, and destruction issues. I had no idea where to start with training. Literally no idea. Ellie could pull me around with no stop like a draft horse and she was so nervous she’d whip back and forth like a coyote avoiding its predator. I couldn’t leave them alone in my house. I couldn’t leave my house alone with them. In came Rowan with tangible tools to slowly mold their behaviors by reducing anxieties. And without judgement. Someone who truely understands dogs knows that their inner workings are complicated. Rowan can explain tiny details about dogs that have never even crossed my mind. Fast forward to my 6th foster dog, the hardest dog yet, a reactive dog. His Rescue Organization and I brought Rowan on to train him. The dog and I both get homework assignments. Each training tool gets more and more precise to challenge his attitude and outbursts. I can see changes in his behavior every day. If not for Rowan, he wouldn’t be improving, if it were up to me alone, he’d probably be getting worse. Rowan can read him like a book and he doesn’t even know it. I chose Rowan as a trainer specifically because I foster and adopt difficult dogs and I wanted the best of the best. It’s not so scary caring for an anxious or aggressive dog when you have an expert to guide you every step of the way.

Rowan is the absolute best pet sitter we've ever used. Their dog training background is so helpful in keeping our animals in routine. Rowan's attention to detail is so appreciated and our pets adore them, they have gone above and beyond when taking care of our crew. As someone with a medically complex animal in addition to a dog with reactivity, it is such a comfort to have someone like Rowan caring for them while we are away. My dog loves her. She is so good with him I would recommend her to anyone and have given her many recommendations since she has been working with Murphy. Murphy is a rescue and had several triggers she has not only helped him manage himself in all sorts of situations but has helped me understand how to assist him in this process. He loves her and she has so much patience and respect for him. She is honest and trustworthy, always on time, and has picked my dog up from home and from work without me being there. I give my full recommendation to her...honestly I am not sure what we would do without her.

Five stars aren't enough! Our dog had an amazing time and was treated like a member of the family. From the moment we met, it was clear that they love dogs and take pet care seriously. They are incredibly knowledgeable about all types of animals and seemed to have a special connection with our naughty dog, basically a true dog whisperer! The daily photos and updates gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away, and it was obvious our Finn was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We came home to a relaxed, healthy, and content dog. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, attentive, and highly experienced pet sitter. We will absolutely book with them again!
