Your pet's home away from home!
Hi pet parents! I'm Rowan 🙂 My partner, Kendall, and I, along with our 4-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer, Goose, would love to host your pup in our home oasis! Just steps from Balboa Park, our large house with a huge fenced yard is the perfect spot for dogs to relax, get outside, and soak up the San Diego sun. Kendall and I have been dog sitting for friends, family, and on Rover for 6+ years, and we genuinely love spending time with new dogs. Kendall is also an avid dog trainer, having trained a service dog and working with many friends' and family's dogs too, so your pup will be in experienced, capable hands. Goose is great with all other dogs—she loves to play but also knows when it's time to settle down and relax. She's spent a lot of time around elderly dogs, so she's especially comfortable with a range of ages and energy levels. I am a freelance sports journalist, so you can often find me at home getting some writing done on the couch with Goose curled up by my side! Your pup will get lots of cuddles, company, and attention with me. As high-energy dog owners, we are super active and are always out walking around the neighborhood, so your dog's energy needs—whatever they are—will be taken care of! We would absolutely love to care for your pup as we care for ours!

Rowan was a wonderful cat sitter! She was super flexible and accommodating across the holidays and ahead of potential travel issues. I know my cat was super thankful for her visits!

Schedule
I work from home a majority of the time and when I'm working out of the house, my partner is usually home. We are never out of the house for longer than five hours, but can make always accommodations if a dog we are caring for needs more frequent potty breaks. We always fit two 45-minute dog walks into our daily schedules regardless of whatever we have going on!

A typical day
Going on dog walks is one of my favorite things to do! I love checking out new local parks and exploring my own neighborhood. I also love hanging out in my backyard with my dog and doing different stimulating activities like kibble scavenger hunts with them!
