In your home, I stick to whatever routine your dog already knows. Same feeding times, same walk spots, same rules about furniture and doors. I'd rather learn your system than impose mine, so leave me detailed notes and I'll follow them. I'll send photos and a quick update each day so you know how things are going. In my place, dogs have run of the space and are welcome on the furniture unless you'd rather they weren't. Fresh water always out, feeding on your schedule, and walks morning and afternoon. If your dog is crate-trained and more settled that way, that works too. Either way, I'll ask up front about medications, allergies, leash reactivity, and anything that tends to set your dog off. I'd rather have too much information than not enough.
