Hi, my name is Rowan! I’m a graduate student at the University of San Francisco, where I’m studying Counseling Psychology. My mom is a dog groomer, so I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have always been comfortable caring for and spending time with them. I also have lots of experience working in roles that require patience, responsibility, and attentiveness. I’ve worked as a high school group counselor, therapist’s assistant, babysitter, and an educator at the San Francisco zoo. I’m a very active person who loves the outdoors, so dogs with lots of energy are a great match for me! I’m more than happy to go on long walks or runs.

Growing up around a lot of different dogs has made me very aware of how every pet has their own personality and routine. When caring for pets in the past, it has always been important to me to prioritize the owners care instructions, as they know their dog best.
Calendar and availability
Schedule
As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule and can work with you to find times that fit your dog’s routine. The majority of my classes are in the evening, so I am most availibe during the morning and afternoon.

- I will work with dogs of any size and breed, but I always appreciate a heads up if a dog has a tendency to bolt or is anxious around other dogs/certain breeds.
