Information Rosy & Rich N. would like to know about your pet
Before your dog's stay, we'd love to know as much as possible about them. Please tell us about their feeding routine, medication, exercise needs, sleeping arrangements, behaviour around other dogs and anything else that will help them settle quickly. We'll also discuss how often you'd like updates while you're away and whether you're happy for your dog to socialise with compatible companions where appropriate.
A typical day
A typical day might include countryside walks, time in the garden, enrichment games, quiet naps and, of course, plenty of fuss and cuddles. Some dogs love chasing a ball, others enjoy exploring new smells, while some are happiest relaxing beside us. We simply adapt each day to suit the dogs staying with us.

Licensed Country Home Boarding
Pet care experience
We're Rosy and Rich, and we'd love to welcome your dog into our family home. Over the past few years we've welcomed dozens of dogs, many of whom have become regular visitors. One of the best parts of what we do is seeing a returning dog arrive at the front door, tail wagging because they already know they're coming somewhere familiar. We're fully licensed by Braintree District Council for home dog boarding (Licence No. AAL/174) and fully insured. Rich has also completed an Ofqual-regulated Level 2 Award in Canine Care & Welfare. Every dog is different, so we take the time to understand their personality, routine and individual needs. We've cared for dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments, including nervous dogs, senior dogs, dogs with medical needs and those who simply prefer their own space. Before your dog's first stay, we'll invite you for a relaxed meet and greet so we can get to know one another, show you where your dog will be staying and make sure we're the right fit for each other.
Reviews

Rosy and Rich were fantastic with our three dogs, who all have very different personalities. Two are rescue dogs with very high anxiety and trust issues, and all three have their own individual needs, so they can definitely be a handful! Rosy and Rich took the time to get to know them and made them feel settled, safe and well cared for. We really appreciated the check-ins, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. When we collected them, they were happy, relaxed and playing, which says everything. They also have a lovely, large, secure garden that’s perfect for dogs. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Rosy and Rich again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind, caring and experienced dog sitters.

Rosy and Rich were absolutely brilliant. I was really nervous about leaving my 8 month old golden doodle for the first time. We went for a visit beforehand where it was obvious how good they were with animals and their home is perfect for pets. Hazel clearly remembered it when I dropped her off. It was hard leaving her but Rosy sent me regular videos and updates. When I picked her up after 6 nights she had clearly been well cared for and was very happy. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Rich looked after our 2 boxers on his own for one night as Rosie was away. He coped well as they are typical nutty boxers ! Two happy but tired 'kids' ! Very happy we have found sitters that we trust x 5 stars from me !

We’re very happy with Manny’s stay at Rosie & Rich’s house! The conditions were excellent, and it was clear that Manny was really well looked after. He was relaxed, happy, and clearly enjoyed his time there. We couldn’t be more pleased and would happily recommend them!
