When caring for pets in my client's home, I prioritize their comfort, well-being, and safety. Here's how I typically care for pets: Feeding and Hydration: I ensure that pets have access to fresh food and water according to their regular feeding schedule. If any specific dietary requirements or preferences are provided, I make sure to follow them. Potty Breaks and Litter Box Cleaning: For dogs, I take them out for potty breaks regularly, especially if they are staying for an extended period. For cats, I clean their litter box as needed, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment. Exercise and Playtime: I engage pets in play sessions and provide them with adequate exercise to keep them physically and mentally stimulated. This can include playing fetch, using interactive toys, or simply spending quality time with them. Medication Administration: If any pets require medication, I am careful to follow the owner's instructions precisely and ensure the medication is administered at the right times. Home Security: Apart from caring for the pets, I also take care of the client's home. This includes keeping an eye on lights, locks, and any other security aspects to give the client peace of mind while they are away. Regular Updates: I understand how important it is for pet owners to know how their pets are doing. That's why I provide regular updates, either through text messages, photos, or Rover Cards, to keep the client informed about their pets' well-being. Additional Services: If requested, I'm willing to provide additional services, such as watering plants, collecting mail/packages/newspapers, and adhering to any other specific needs the client may have.
