I have a medium to large fully fenced yard with a patio perfect for dogs or cats to run and play. Our basement is fully furnished with cat beds, feeding station, litter box, and cat toys. It’s a spacious area and generally cooler than the rest of our house as it is underground with small windows close to the ceiling to let in air. Our residence is a 5 minute walk away from the Taunus forest, which is full of people jogging and walking their pets. As for caring for pets at a clients home, I trust they have everything needed for the pet, and I will follow their established routines as closely as possible - feeding times, walk, play, rest - so the pet barely notices a change. I take time to learn each pet’s personality and quirks, never force an interaction, and always keep the owner updated with the photos and messages. I also make sure to have emergency contacts and vet information ready before the sit begins.
