Availability
My partner is a GB para athlete in wheelchair rugby, so I assist her with that on some weekends and evenings. I also still work some hours doing dog grooming. This leaves me with a very flexible schedule throughout the week, especially when my partner is not training. I am free nearly all weekday mornings, and can fit bookings in throughout the day. Let me know what your requirements are, and I’ll do my absolute best to meet them!

Drop Ins: I will ensure that doors and windows that lead to the outside are always closed, unless you have a fenced in back garden, where I will make sure dogs are still monitored when outdoors. For cats, particularly indoor cats, our time will be indoors (or in a purpose built catio if you have one) to ensure there is no chance of them getting out of the property. Dog Walking: Your dog will remain on lead at all times, and your house will be locked behind me. If your dog is reactive, requires a muzzle or has any other needs when out walking, please let me know and I will accomodate this. Treats will also always be on hand!

Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Ross, and the majority of my background is in dog grooming and cat rescue. I have been grooming dogs for five years now, working with everything from tiny old teacup Yorkies, to 90kg Dogue de Bordeaux’s. I absolutely love being able to get to know both the dog’s we care for, and their owners. Being trusted to take care of people’s pets is a privilege, and one I don’t take lightly. I am an easy going person, and find I connect well with animals. I have grown up surrounded by cats, as my parents worked in animal rescue, and we would foster frequently. As a teenager, I regularly bottle fed kittens who were just days old and without their mother. I also have extensive experience with older and disabled cats and dogs, and understand the unique needs of these animals. At home, we have a cat and a dog of our own. Our dog is a 6 year old lab mix, and our cat is a 10 year old tabby. My fiancé is a GB para athlete in wheelchair rugby, and I build my schedule around her. I am typically available during the week, sometimes at relatively short notice for drop in’s and walks, and I’m available some weekends, particularly over the summer and other holidays. Whether you’re looking for somebody to come check on your cat and give them some fuss, or somebody to come give your bouncy dog a walk to tire them out, or anything in between, I’d be happy to hear from you!

Reviews
I have a nine year old working Cocker named Walter and Ross (and Meg) do Walter's groom for me. Ross is very attentive and takes great care of him, gives him loads of love, and Walter is always excited to go there. He totally adores Ross, goes straight to him and then doesn't want to leave him. I am always completely confident that Walter will be well looked after and safe when I leave him.
I have known Ross for several years and in that time he has always been surrounded by animals, both cats and dogs. His own dog is just the most adorable fur baby. She is well behaved and gentle in nature ..a fine example of how to care for a dog. Ross has looked after my own dog on many occasions and treats her just like his own...spoilt and loved. If you are looking for someone to take care of your dog, safely and compassionately, then you really are onto a winner with Ross
Ross has cared for my two large dogs and cat on numerous occasions, also grooming the dogs. He’s a kind and conscientious young man, and all 3 of mine have taken a real shine to him. I would recommend Ross to anyone.
