We have raised dogs since they were puppies. We have experience ranging from puppies to senior dogs. Pets have medical needs? No problem! We have experience with that too. We provide a safe and caring environment for your beloved pets. Rest assured, we will love your pets like they were part of our family. We have a fenced in yard and live close to parks with walking trails. We are a family that enjoy the outdoors and long walks. We work full-time outside of the home, but only 20 minutes away. We also have a security camera set up so we can keep an eye on your dog when we are not home. Our work schedule provides flexibility so if your pet needs to be let out during the day we can make that work. We are home from work at 3:30 PM and don’t leave for work until 8:15 AM. We are able to walk dogs prior to leaving for work and will make sure they have plenty of exercise in the evenings when we are home. The early end to our work days and weekends off mean your pets will get plenty of love and attention. We have a fenced in yard and live in a neighbourhood with a park, trails and plenty of green space. We are an active, outdoorsy family to enjoy long walks in conservation areas. Your dogs will get the exercise and play a required in the safety of our home, backyard and community. Your dog will be welcome to treat our home like it’s their own. We will make sure they feel comfortable and safe while they’re in our care. Requested information about your pet: please let me know if your dog has any special requirements for needs we should be aware of. We are able to accommodate and support most medical for extraordinary needs. Your dog will get a walk before our work day begins and lots of exercise when we get home from work. If we are taking care of your dog on a weekend we are very outdoorsy family and it will get lots of attention and exercise. We have a fenced in backyard which will provide your dog with lots of opportunities to run around and play fetch. We can also baby gate senior dogs and puppies into our main living space to ensure that they are safe.

Ross & Julie took such amazing care of our puppy Freddie. They are so kind and you can tell they are huge animal lovers. Their dog Rielly is such a patient good boy and my dog loved playing with him. We will definitely be using them for the future!

Ross & Julie were so good to our puppy. They sent regular updates of the adventures they went on, were very welcoming of his personality, and he made himself right at home! This was my first use of the Rover app, and it did not disappoint. I spent a couple of hours combing through options to see what matched with my needs. Ross & Julie’s profile showed up and truly felt like a perfect match. I sent a msg, and they responded promptly, and eagerly to meet with me, and my dog. They opened their home to us, and they truly made it a very comfortable, easy-going process. They asked a couple of “get to know our dog” questions, and were genuinely excited to take care of him while we were vacationing during March break! While we were away, they kept in touch and sent updates & pictures of our dog’s stay with them. He made himself at-home quickly, and was always cozy with Julie. Knowing he was safe, comfortable, and happy while away, gave me peace of mind and no concerns of his well-being. I’d be happy to leave him with Ross & Julie again, knowing he’s well taken care of in their home. Great people who genuinely love dogs with open arms & hearts.
We were anxious when we booked our vacation as it was the first time in over a year that we were travelling without our pups. Ross and Julie were very reassuring, and we felt so much at ease when we met them in person. Their family took such amazing care of our pups and it was sweet to see their daughter come out to say bye to them. We’d love to board them with Ross and Julie for all of our future travels!
Ross and Julie amazing!!! We couldn’t have asked for better boarders for Ollie! They are super friendly and you can tell they love dogs! Throughout the stay, Ross provided regular updates, including photos, which were reassuring and delightful to receive. They took Ollie out daily for walks! The level of care and attention my dog received was exceptional. It was clear that they genuinely loves animals and takes their job seriously. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog boarder. Thank you, Ross and Julie, for providing such a positive experience. A typical day
When we wake up we go for a walk around the community. If it’s a weekend we typically go for hikes in the conservation area. Also we love to play fetch. There is a leash free park that can be used at owners discretion as well.
