I've grown up around animals my whole life, owning and caring for multiple dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish over the years. I currently have a 3-year-old Aussiedoodle named Luna who I take all around Charleston, the beach, the boat, the county park, so I know firsthand what it takes to keep an active dog happy and well-exercised. Beyond dogs and cats, I'm a true animal enthusiast. I currently maintain both a saltwater and freshwater aquarium, dart frog terrariums, and have owned reptiles including snakes and geckos over the years. I've also had multiple cats throughout my life. No matter what your household looks like, I'm comfortable around it, and genuinely passionate about animals of all kinds.

When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I'd want for my own. I always follow your pet's established routine and any specific instructions you leave, and I send photo and video updates so you can see how your pup is doing. Your dog stays secure on leash at all times during walks, and your home is left exactly as I found it.

Ross was amazing! I needed weekend care for my dog, Izzy, on relatively short notice, and he was incredibly dependable, professional, and caring throughout the entire experience. From Friday night through Sunday night, Ross took wonderful care of Izzy. He made sure she was walked, fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention. It was obvious from his updates and photos that he genuinely cared about her well-being and treated her with kindness and patience. One of the things I appreciated most was his communication. He sent lots of pictures and kept me updated, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. He was also honest and proactive about his availability, communicating clearly whenever there was a scheduling issue. I would absolutely trust Ross with Izzy again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, responsible, and caring pet sitter. Five stars all the way!
Ross is the best pet caregiver ever!!! I have entrusted him to watch my dog countless times, and I have always known that I am leaving him with someone who genuinely cares and will keep my dog safe. He's so responsive, punctual, and responsible and is great about ensuring my dog is fed, given plenty of water, given his medications, and gets lots of exercise. Ross is a true pet lover and you can 100% count on him to take excellent care of your pet.
Ross is the co-owner of our 40 pound Australian labradoodle, Luna. Ross has been incredible taking care of Luna and has become the primary caretaker. Since I work at the office and Ross works from home, his flexible schedule has made him readily available to care for Luna. He is able to administer her medications, take her on long walks, keep a regular routine with feeding times. Since Ross has grown up around dogs, it has been an easy transition to accept Luna into our home when we adopted her in December 2025. Ross would make a great addition to the Rover care team bringing years of dog caring experience. His flexibility is a sought after skill most people are looking for on Rover. He would be a great fit!
