I am self employed, therefore I can often take bookings very last minute and I can also work around complicated work patterns of the pet's owner to fit in with irregular hours. I can also commit to daily visits on long term plans such as holidays if enough notice is given.

When sitting a pet at the owners property, it is important for me to be able to work in the day and not be confined to the home, this can be just up to 1-2 hours (and more if the owner allows) for work or social activities, if the pet absolutely can not be left at all, then a different price will be applied. I will request that the daily routine and food giving times and quantities are written down either through Rover or on paper and left at the property.

It's important for me to understand your dog's behaviour with other dogs. Whether they can or cannot be trusted off the lead and if their recall requires some tasty incentives.
A typical day
There is a private nature reserve near by which a family member generously allows me to visit whenever I please. This has lots of woodland and also wider spaces for a run. There is also Leybourne lakes if your dog is keen on a swim. Also a selection of big fields (also quiet) for a good game of fetch.

Pet care experience
I am currently a Self Employed Plumbing and Heating Engineer of LPG, Gas and Oil. I am interested in a change of career and it has become a strong realisation that my passion lies with looking after animals. I have had a generous amount of personal experience with animals from a very young age, from feeding and brushing horses, nursing a hedgehog to be released back into the wild, changing dressings and the general daily care of stick insects, gecko lizards, cats, dogs and many guineapigs. In my engineering career I meet a whole range of pets of which I am also incredibly keen, with the permission of the owner, to give my undivided attention to. I am fully insured by Protectivity.

Rosie was amazing at looking after Padfoot whilst I was away. She kept us up to date on his walks and made sure that he was happy and comfortable! Rosie was flexible in giving him treats at certain times. Would definitely book again!
Our dog is big and can be reactive, so we had some specific instructions for walking her. Rosie listened carefully and did what we asked. Everything went seamlessly. She is confident and understands dogs. We will book with her again!
Rosie was amazing with staying to look after Effy and Ninja. Effy especially enjoyed being taken out so much and being treated like an additional family member. There are lots of videos and photos of the fun times they had as well. Thank you so much Rosie ☺️
Rosie was fantastic with my Cocker Spaniel, I felt like she understood his strange quirks, and had no issues with him settling with her in our home. The regular updates were very reassuring, I didn't have to worry the whole weekend!
