Although my family have owned dogs since I was baby, I didn't know what it truly meant to be a dog owner until I rescued my own pup in 2018. Since then I have researched, trained, socialized, and done everything in my power to understand my own dog, as well as other people's. I have always been the one to look after friends and family's pets; from my sister's two reactive doodles, to my best friends hamsters; I love all animals and you can guarantee that I will do everything in my power to ensure your pet is happy, safe, and comfortable in my care. I have completed guide dog training to raise a puppy for the guide dog program, therefore am excited to train and care for puppies. I was once the President of a dog and cat rescue in Costa Rica where I managed the veterinary care of animals and community outreach. I studied Zoo Biology at University which included a module on animal training which provided a foundation for the positive reinforcement training I practice with my own dog every day. Not only do I love animals but I care deeply for them. I know how important it is to leave them with someone you trust implicitly, and I hope I can earn that trust.
