I grew up with dogs and I had my own until he grew old. I guess you could say that I have a lifetime of experience. Because my own dog’s passing was so heart breaking, I can’t bring myself to get another at this time so I enjoy getting my dog fill in through Rover. I am from Louisiana and I have lived in New Orleans for 8 years. I consider myself very reliable and responsible. So far, I have had great experiences with Rover. I can't wait to meet your dog(s)!

My dog has stayed with Rosemary several times and she is always so communicative and easy to work with! Rosemary sends pictures everyday and keeps me updated on what they are doing. I know Dia is happy with Rosemary because she easily struts away from me at drop off! (:
I want to be transparent about my experience so other pet parents can make an informed decision. I was very upfront from the beginning about my dog Onyx’s needs, including his anxiety, pad training, and that he cannot be around other dogs. Rosemary agreed to the booking knowing these details. Unfortunately, during the stay, it became clear that she was not able to manage his anxiety or behaviors, and the situation escalated to the point where she constantly messaged me to come get him knowing I was many hours away from home. This caused significant stress for me and my family. I was forced to urgently coordinate alternative care through Rover while on a family vacation. While I understand that not every dog is the right fit for every sitter, I believe it’s important for sitters to fully assess whether they can handle anxious dogs before accepting a booking. I would strongly recommend that Rosemary only accept dogs whose needs align with her experience and comfort level.
Rosemary was so kind and welcoming to our little guy. She took great care of him. I would totally recommend her for others in need of a doggy sitter.
Rosemary was wonderful with Marie, took great care of her for a week which was the longest I have ever left her! She sent cute pictures to set my mind at ease. Marie was well taken care of. Will definitely call Rosemary again.

This was the second time Finn has stayed with Rosemary. He had a wonderful time and she’s extremely responsive! Definitely recommend.

Schedule
I am currently working full-time Monday through Friday (minus holidays). When pet sitting, I spend most, if not all, of my free time with the pet.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently do not have any pets so pets that I sit will have my full attention. I do have a backyard and a walkable neighborhood.
A typical day
I love going on walks with dogs and we often play fetch and/or tug of war if they are up for it. Outings can be provided as well.
