We recently had to let our 14 year Manitou, our beloved German Shepherd mix go. We adopted her when she 2 months old!! My daughter was 8 at the time and got to grow up with her “sister.” When she got her own place at college and wanted a dog of her own, I helped my daughter find and rescue her own 2-month old dachshund puppy, Margot. We spent the summer together crate training and potty training the newest member of our family, my grandpuppy. We attended Puppy Training classes together where Margot learned good manners with people and other puppies her age. A little about myself; I worked as a Paralegal for over 20 years. January of 2020 I decided to start petsitting full time. I saw the need for “dog nanny” services, housesitting & caring for some dogs who do not handle new environments as well as others or other dogs. So I focus on one on one care. I also open up my home for “dog lodging” where the dog is treated as a guest & I make them feel as comfortable as possible & stick to their normal routine. Our home is smoke-free & our fenced in backyard is chemical free (I like dandelions!) Our dogs are like our children and grandchildren. I understand how much yours mean to you, and I will always take care of your dogs as if they were my own.

Rosemary was the perfect sitter for our quirky boy Ziggy. He doesn’t like to be away from his family and does not do well with other dogs or children. The attention and love she showed him made him feel safe. She shared photos and stories with us during the stay. It made us enjoy our vacation more knowing he was well cared for.
Rosemary was amazing with our baby, Tucker! Because our boy has the run of the house and is so well behaved, he doesn’t need to be kenneled, so we wanted someone who could spend a lot time with him, playing with and loving on him, and sometimes just “being there with him.” Every picture and video Rosemary sent us during our vacation just made our day! To see him wagging his tail and relaxing with total comfort and serenity, gave us more peace of mind than we ever imagined. Knowing she was there overnight with Tucker allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation and we came home to a wonderful reunion with a very happy dog! THANK YOU, Rosemary, from the bottom of our hearts!!
Rosemary watched our one year old Great Dane while we went on a five day vacation. It was our first time away from him and he was very stressed. Our Great Dane is anxious at home so I can only imagine how he was with her. Thankfully Rosemary showed him all the love and attention he needed. I received daily updates as well as pictures. I felt guilty for not checking in often, but she assured me Kane was in good hands and to enjoy our vacation! Very thankful to Rosemary and her husband for watching and loving on my big baby boy!
Absolutely wonderful! Received many photo and video updates throughout Finn’s stay and Rosemary met with us twice prior to help make Finn comfortable and get to know him — this definitely helped him as he can be anxious meeting new people and she and her husband did a great job making him feel at home (and also keeping an energetic pup entertained despite cold weather) ? I could tell they truly cared about him by the questions she asked and the updates I received, a great experience
Georgie loved her stay with Rosemary. We were a bit nervous since Georgie was only 4 months old but we met Rosemary prior to boarding Georgie and we knew she would be the perfect fit for our pup! She followed our schedule that we have for her at home and continued with the training we were working on with her as well. When we picked up Georgie she was happy and tired out from all the play time and one on one attention she got during her stay. She actually has behaved much better since getting home and has been better about getting in her crate. We are so happy with Rosemary and she will be our go to pet sitter for our pups!
Westerman had a fun three day visit with Rosemary with lots of walks and puzzles! He came home so nicely brushed and was well taken care of. We received many photo and video updates on his stay and felt very secure with Rosemary!!! Thank you Rosemary!!!

A typical day
I love going on walks!! Your dogs will enjoy walks if they are walkers! I have a shaded fenced backyard where we can play fetch, or just lounge around & enjoy the day! I also enjoy nature hikes, if your doggie enjoys car rides & hiking I know some good trails to take them on!! Note: I never leave my clients outside by themselves! I love the outdoors & will always be watching over them.
