One of us is fully remote while the other is a hybrid worker, so we'll have plenty of time to take care of your precious pet. In addition, our schedules are flexible and therefore we can easily coordinate between us to ensure that there is someone with your pet at all times.

We have a crazy and lovable doggy named Monty who absolutely loves other dogs. We can guarantee your doggy will have a great companion with Monty--he'll make sure your pup is a happy and tired pup by the end of the stay. We have a fenced backyard where your pup can run around and play, and if that's not enough we always take any dog we watch on long walks around the neighborhood or in the huge fields of Jefferson Park. We also have a cat who has been around dogs all of her life and is an amazing teacher to dogs who have never interacted with a cat (she's confident, stern, and often just ignores dogs as long as they ignore her). We believe in a safe environment and secure experience for your pets. Your pets will have access to a secure and cozy space where they can relax, play, and enjoy daily routines tailored to their needs. Rest assured, we maintain a clean and pet-safe environment, with dedicated areas for play, rest, and exploration. Regular walks, interactive toys, and lots of love ensure a stimulating and joyful stay. We practice on-leash at all times when outside of the house (with the exception of when your pets are in our fenced backyard). This means we won't ever let your pet off-leash during walks even through parks/fields. We will not take your dogs to off-leash dog parks since we cannot guarantee how other dogs will react.

We always ask for information on the following: Food: Does your dog have any allergies? How much, how often, and at what times during the day do they eat? Would you like us to keep to a strict food plan or are you comfortable with us providing additional treats, cookies, toppers, etc? Does your dog share food/water? Is your dog a treat snatcher? Energy/Environment: How much energy does your dog have? How often do you exercise the dog? Is your dog anxious/nervous around other dogs, people, children, etc.? Is your dog comfortable around busy or loud environments? What about being around bikes/skateboards/scooters? Habits: Is your dog allowed on the furniture or on the bed? If they aren't, is it ok if we allow them on our own furniture? Is your dog crate trained? Do you want us to maintain crate training if so during the stay? Is your dog comfortable having their paws touched?
A typical day
Our dog gets a long walk every morning to start his day so when your dog stays with us they'll get to join the pack. There's always physical stimulation and play when your dog needs, and if they love toys there's a basket of toys in every room. We often let dogs that stay with us play in the backyard and if that's not enough, we take them on a long walk in the huge Jefferson Park pathways. Your dogs will also get some mental stimulation with some sniff toys and puzzles. At night, we usually do a long evening walk around the quiet parts of the neighborhood for dogs who still have some energy to burn.

We're die-hard dog lovers! We've owned and taken care of dogs (and cats) all of our lives and can't imagine not having pets around. We regularly watch the pets for our friends, family, coworkers, and neighborhood so have experience across many different animal personalities. We believe that pets bring happiness and love, so every dog, cat, etc. deserves to be happy, safe, and healthy. And that's what we promise to provide for your dog. A happy doggy is a happy owner. Regarding our skills, we have experience training puppies, providing oral medication, and taking care of senior dogs. To our regulars, if you need boarding services please message us even if it shows unavailable.
