I have experience with a wide variety of animals, and especially love the training aspect of pet care. From dogs of all sizes to cats and even birds, I've always enjoyed caring for animals. To me, communication is a two way street- putting in the effort to get to know them, reading their body language and respecting them, and using positive reinforcement to reward good behaviour. I find training to be so fun and rewarding, and so do they! I have worked with dogs with various medical conditions in the past and am comfortable administering medication. Whenever I get to meet someone's pet, it's always the highlight of my day. I love every opportunity to pour effection on animals, and would love to get to know yours!

I will only be able to offer care in my client's home- whether that be multiple check ins throughout the day or staying overnight at the client's home. I will try to stick as closely as possible to the routine that the pets are used to, to help them stay on schedule!

Roselynn house sat for us and watched our year old kitten. Belle is usually very shy around new people, but warmed up to Roselynn immediately. We got updates and pictures while we were away which made us feel very relaxed and happy. She is extremely trustworthy and not only took great care of our kitten, but great care of our house. We came home to a very relaxed and happy kitten!

Rose has a very big heart for animals. We currently live together so I get to see first hand the time and attention she gives my cat and another roommate's cat. She has taken the time to train them to do tricks and learn their favorite ways to play. Any time the cats have been acting off or gotten into something she immediately notifies us so we can figure out what's wrong or do better about keeping certain doors closed. My cat would also give Rose a wonderful review. Every time she hears Rose has gotten home she runs to the door to say hi.
Roselynn watched my elderly dog, Max, over the course of a week, she met each and every one of his extensive list of needs, including 5 medications, exact meal times, and making sure that he was taken outside and supervised. She gave consistent updates throughout the day to relieve my nerves of leaving him at home. She followed every rule and insured Max was well taken care of and comfortable. My dog is usually skittish of most people but immediately warmed up to Rose. She is and will always be the only person I will trust to watch him.

Schedule
I'm here in Kansas City for an internship this summer! I figured, what better way to enjoy myself in a new city than to get to hang out with some awesome pets? I will be working from home Mondays and Fridays, and would be available to be with them all day on those days. But even outside of that my hours are flexible and I can adjust my schedule to fit the needs of your furry companion.
