I Treat Your Pet Like Family

I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, from dogs and cats to small pets, and caring for them is second nature to me. I currently have a 4-year-old rescue Kelpie mix named Olive, and she’s my best friend. We love adventuring together, and I’ve built my lifestyle around providing her with a safe, stimulating, and loving environment. As a sitter, I bring that same level of care to every pet I look after. I’m Pet First Aid & CPR certified, and I’m confident in calmly handling emergencies should they arise. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and rescue animals, including those who need a little extra patience, structure, or space. Whether your pet is high-energy or low-key, I pay close attention to their needs and routines. I can administer oral medications, support basic training reinforcement, and ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.

Roselyne gave our dogs the love and attention we were hoping to find when using Rover. Will definitely book her again.

Roselyne took great care of our huskies! She sent lots of photos and put our minds at ease, especially when we got delayed coming home. It was a huge relief knowing they were safe with her. Thank you Roselyne!

Our three pups stayed with Roselyne for over a week and it went really well! She took great care of them and sent daily pictures and updates. They got along with her dog Olive as well. Thank you Roselyne! They look forward to their next stay with you.

Roselyne was amazing with our 2 big and rambunctious dogs. She was able to give medications, and both dogs came home exhausted from lots of fun.

This was our first time leaving her with a stranger and not family. We were so nervous but Rosie and Olive put us at ease. We had a great meet and greet and wonderful feedback every day, along with lots of photos and videos. We could not have asked for a better outcome. Would highly recommend Roselyn.

Schedule

New to Nova Scotia! I work from home full-time, which means I’m able to give your pet consistent attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. My schedule is flexible and pet-friendly, perfect for dogs who need regular outdoor time, play, or just someone to keep them company. I’m active and love getting outside, so daily walks around the neighbourhood are part of my routine. I also have an enclosed backyard with water access, which is ideal for dogs who enjoy swimming or relaxing outside. On nice days, I often sit out in the yard while the dogs explore or sunbathe nearby.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I treat every animal with the same love and attention I give my own dog, and I’m always mindful of their unique needs and personality. My home is pet-friendly, clean, and secure. If your pet loves water, there's also direct access to a small waterway for supervised splashing and swimming. I also have the ability to separate spaces indoors, which is ideal for pets who prefer quiet time or need their own area to decompress. I’m certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, and I’m always prepared in case of an emergency. I follow your instructions closely, whether that includes dietary needs, medication, or preferred routines, and I’ll keep you updated with regular messages, photos, and videos so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring hands.

A typical day

A typical day with me includes a mix of fun, fresh air, and lots of love. I work from home full-time, so your pet will never be left alone for long and will get consistent attention throughout the day. We usually start with a morning potty break or walk around the neighbourhood to get some energy out. Throughout the day, we’ll enjoy playtime in my backyard, and for water-loving dogs, there’s safe access to a small waterway where they can splash under supervision. If your pet prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to sit outside with them while they relax and soak up the sun. Depending on your pet’s energy level, I’ll incorporate walks, enrichment games, or snuggle time into the day. Meals, treats, and rest time follow their normal schedule. I always try to keep their routine as familiar as possible.
