With years of experience and a true love of animals, I provide compassionate, responsible care for pets while their families are away. I want to keep your pet as close to their usual routine as possible. This seems to help with anxiety. I also like to know if they sleep with you and snuggle? If they are crated at night? If they are typically allowed on the furniture? Their typical last call for potty break before bed? Do they get certain treats at certain times? I don't want them uneasy at all while their family is away.

A typical day
I will make sure to get plenty of walks in, if that's their form of exercise. If there is a fenced back yard I will engage in playing outside with them. I will play with their toys with them such as tug of war, and fetch. Most of the pets I watch also enjoy the "treat dispenser puzzle". It keeps them entertained and of course rewards them with treats as they move through it. This gives them less anxiety when I'm leaving.

I specialize in overnight care as well as daily check-ins and dog walking. I give plenty of affection and attention. I will administer medications to cooperative pets always with focus on safety and gentleness. I'm happy to help with light home care like watering plants, bringing in mail and adjusting lights.

I am so grateful for the care and kindness that Roseanne Hurley has shown to my family over the years. She has looked after my French bulldog, Loki, and my late mastiff, Cane, with such love and attentiveness, making sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Knowing my pets were in her hands gave me such peace of mind, and I could tell they adored her just as much as she adored them. Roseanne has also been a wonderful babysitter for my children, filling their days with fun and thoughtful activities, from afternoons at the pool to games and healthy, tasty meals. She is warm, dependable, and trustworthy, with a gift for making kids feel safe and loved. We feel so lucky to have her in our lives, and I recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone in need of someone who will care for their loved ones, two-legged or four-legged, as if they were her own!
I have known Roseanne for at least 20 years. She started out helping me with house cleaning and providing after school care for my daughters. We’ve had three dogs and a bird over the years we’ve known Roseanne, and she’s taken care of each of them. Our dog sees Roseanne at least once a month, and looks forward to her arrival, as she knows the day will end with a special treat. We take our dog with us as often as we can when we travel, but on the occasions that we can’t, Roseanne house/pet sits for us while we’re away. In fact, a few years ago, we took an extended family trip to the beach, and she had a total of 3 dogs here at our house to care for. We know our home and our beloved fur babies are in loving and capable hands when we’re away. I have no hesitation in providing an excellent recommendation for Roseanne.
Roseanne was reliable, professional and always did a great job. Sometimes I thought my dog liked her better than me! When we were away she would even water my plants and bring in my mail. On one occasion she even had to administer medication and she was more than happy to do that. I can't recommend Roseanne highly enough!
