Marine biologist and pet lover!
As a marine biologist by trade, I have committed my entire career to the care and understanding of animals. I have cared for a diverse number of species, not only a large number of fishes but also my own pets and those of friends and family such as cats, dogs, bearded dragons, and birds. As a volunteer at wildlife rehabilitation centers, I have also cared for birds of prey, snapping turtles, songbirds, waterfowl, and small mammals such as rabbits and squirrels. My heart is set on respecting and caring for these animals, and I would love to help you with your pets. You will know your pet is with an incredibly responsible and attentive lady, who is also fun and loves to play with these little guys. I am also a good communicator: your pet will be in good hands! :D

My cat is fed the best food I could find, that he loves, and we play many times a day to help with his wild energy. We snuggle a lot and he has a peaceful environment, with window spots to watch the neighbors with a plenty. I am very attentive to his health because he has FIV, so we have annual vet visits as well as I pay attention to his health to make sure he doesn't get sick unexpectedly and attend to his stinky teeth. Your pet will be cared for in the same way: I have a mindset of a vet and will make sure they are safe and cared for, and if anything comes up we will communicate well and rapidly get your pet healthcare they need. Beyond the essentials of good regular food and cleanliness (litter boxes immaculate), I also take time to play as long as they want or enjoy a good walk together. My lap is open- happy to snuggle and enjoy a good sit together to make up for missing their people.

Hands down to Rose! She’s so attentive, responsible, and kept me updated throughout the entire stay. Pumpkin really liked her and was happy and comfortable with her. I highly recommend Rose!
Rose was an excellent, super communicative sitter for our Gibbs! She took great care of him and kept us updated on how he was during our trip, will definitely book with her again!

Rose was excellent! She was friendly and communicative when checking in on our cats, and she went above and beyond by cleaning up a hairball and vacuuming up some litter. She gave great check-in notes and took some very funny pictures that we really appreciated. We could tell she really cared!

Schedule
I am able to take care of pets before and after my work at UCSD as an animal behavior scientist. On the weekends I am free all hours to take care of your pet.

- I would like to know any unique needs your pet needs so I can be attentive to them or administer anything they require. These needs are all encompassing, can include anything from medicine to social to space to cleanliness to funky quirks.
