Pet care experience
Veterinary Nurse 🩺🐶🐱
I am a licensed veterinary technician here in our great state of Texas, and have cared for hundreds of animals both in the hospital setting and in my own home. When my coworkers go on vacation, they know they will have peace of mind leaving their own animals with me. I’ve got three cats and a tri-pod mixed breed dog who we adopted from the shelter as a 6 month old puppy. Working in the hospital I understand that all pets are different and have their own quirks, personalities & preferences. This is especially true when in a new place and away from their routine! Rest assured that if any medical concerns arise while you are away, I will be able to triage your pet and communicate concerns quickly. I am able to administer oral and injectable medications and perform many medical tasks special needs or senior pets may require.

Ratings and reviews
Rose is the most incredible and responsible human being I know. She is one of the only people I trust to care for my babies. Not only do my babies love being with her, but I have the peace of mind of knowing they are in the incredibly capable hands of a Lead Licensed Veterinary Nurse incase anything happens (which nothing ever has). I have since moved to College Station for Veterinary School and honestly I would drive back to Austin to ensure my babies are well taken care of and able to be in her care. The drive is WELL worth the peace of mind and security of being able to have a stress free time away from the babies. She treats my babies as her own and Pear doesn't even bat an eye at me leaving being with Rose (selfishly - RUDE haha) and I am so glad she gets to be as stress free as I am while I am gone. We miss her so so so much and cannot recommend her enough.
I’ve known Rose for 4 years now & entirely trust her watching and caring for my pets. She’s a licensed technician with a good head on her shoulders, I’ve worked with her regularly. Not only does she know what to do should something go wrong / need emergency care, she also knows not to overthink or overreact for the little things (e.g. scarf and barf). What I love most is that she provides realistic updates without sugar coating (e.g. she usually watches my not smart dog, then tells me he keeps going into her flower beds despite being told no / not learning due to his known lack of brain cells). As a vet, this is who I trust my pets with.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Our yard is fenced with plenty of space to sniff around and play. My own dog is crate trained and remains kenneled for her own and my cat’s safety when unsupervised. I do not believe any dog should be left un-kenneled if unsupervised (working in veterinary medicine, I have seen it all - dog fights, foreign body/toxin ingestion, self harm and more)
