I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life. I have trained puppies, taken care of old dogs, and gone on more dog walks then I can count. I also have lived among cats for the past couple years learning how to take care of them.

In a clients home depending on the pet I would make sure they got their needed exercises. For an energetic dog I have no problem playing as long as they need. For older dogs or cats I know sometimes they prefer sleeping/relaxing more than playing so I would respect that balance.

Rose got off to a rocky start but improved meaningfully after some early feedback: she stayed for the full visit length, sent more photos, and was punctual and consistent throughout. She was also very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the whole booking. She went a little above and beyond on her own initiative, too, bringing in a package from the hallway without being asked. That said, there were a couple of things I came home to that gave me pause. The Litter Robot hopper was empty and the barrel was nearly depleted. I also found three dried vomit piles that were never mentioned in any visit notes. They were visibly old and well-set, not from the hours between her last visit and my return, so they occurred on her watch at some point. One was right inside the entrance and another was by the food bowls. For cats, that's exactly the kind of thing a sitter needs to notice and flag. Her notes did improve after feedback and included some genuine behavioral observations, but they stayed pretty brief throughout. She's responsive, easy to deal with, and clearly fine with cats on a basic level. With a bit more initiative and attention to health stuff, she'd be a solid sitter.

Rose did a great job looking after my cat, Ben. She provided pictures, communicated with me throughout the process and wasn't hesitant to ask any questions. I would absolutely book Rose again!
