1.5 fenced-in acres. I am rarely away from home. I do a little volunteer work but I am a home body and that means most of my time is at home allowing me to take at least one dog for any working Dog Moms or Dads who are looking for doggy day care. I was a co-owner of three doggie day care centers in North, Central and Southern NJ. I am animal CPR, massage and injection trained. I served only warm food to my doggies. I love all kinds of animals; once they enter my house, they become my children. I have been accused of loving animals more than people, and, I am OK with that. I have no more 4 legged darlings and now I NEED to dog-sit so I'm not so lonesome and can still share my bed! My second German Shepherd and I were trained to visit schools, hospitals and nursing homes. We met once a month at a Juvenile Detention Center in NJ, where kids interacted with Greta. I was an Emergency Room Technician, volunteered on several First Aid Squads in NJ, and have more than 25 years military background. As a result, I remain extremely calm in emergency situations. (But! I do sob at sad movies!) I am a licensed Home Health Aide. My doggie day care business is IMPORTANT to me and I will respond as quickly as possible. THANK YOU for reading about me and remember, I NEED 4-LEGGED, HAIRY COMPANY! I am old fashioned and respond faster to my phone, rather than e-mail. I am home most of the time except for Church on Sunday and Bible Study on Tuesday. I rarely do home health care work anymore. My lawn man does NOT use Roundup and I don't buy any rawhide toys or treats. I serve refrigerator-cold water and warm food, as found in nature. UNFORTUNATELY, I no longer have my own pets except for goldfish. ALTHOUGH I LOVE ALL DOGGIES, I am more comfortable caring for bigger dogs. I prefer 40 lbs and over, PLEASE and THANK YOU!

Rose was absolutely wonderful with Bella and Blue! You can tell right away how much she genuinely cares about animals by the way she speaks to them and interacts with them. She was so sweet, patient, and attentive to both of them, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. One of my dogs is afraid of just about everything, and Rose went above and beyond to make her feel safe and comfortable, she even sat with her in the closet when she was scared. That meant so much to us and really showed the kind of person she is. We couldn’t have asked for someone better to care for our girls and would absolutely trust Rose with them again. Highly recommend her!
Rose took such good care of our big guy Gus! He can't wait to go back and enjoy her company and yard and sunny patio!! Rose was so good about keeping us updated and making sure Gus felt right at home!
Rose is always our go-to person to watch our Moose! We know he’s in the best hands and is always loved on by Rose! We appreciate all the updates and photos along the way :)

Rose was the sweetest and her house was the perfect place for Smokey. He got to run around and get tons of love. The updates about his run ins with squirrels and birds made me smile. Thank you again Rose!

I am fully retired now and as a result enjoy animal company. MOST of my time is spent at home with doggies in my care.

Safety, trust & environment
I have 1.5 acres of fenced-in yard. I take only bigger dogs just in case of a small opening I'm not aware of. I allow dogs who have been coming here for years to be outside for short periods by themselves. If a dog is out, both back and front doors are open so they can come in whenever they want. (Of course this is weather dependent.)
A typical day
Visiting dogs and I will rarely leave my property. I have one dog who begs to go for car rides several times a day and I do that for her. We will spend lots of time out-doors. I DON'T crate dogs unless requested to by owners. I don't have my own crate.
