I've been pet sitting since college and have cared for dogs with a variety of personalities, ages, and needs. As a medical student, I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pet while you're away. I have an AKC Canine Good Citizen certified dog who is truly part of my family, and I care for every pet as if they were my own. While I'm not an AKC-certified trainer, I have experience with obedience training and recently fostered and trained a dog from the ground up, helping them build confidence and good manners before finding their forever home. Although I'm not a veterinarian, my medical training has made me comfortable following medication schedules, recognizing when something seems off, and paying close attention to details. I know how important it is to notice changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or mobility, and I'll always communicate any concerns promptly. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply having someone to cuddle with, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and at home while you're away.

Rose is an amazing, responsible, and devoted caregiver. She fostered our new addition and was the best thing that could have ever happened to him. She provided a safe and loving home and enabled him to heal and develop into a happy and energetic pooch. Animals are lucky to be in the company of Rose!
Rose did an amazing job caring for the little zoo my boyfriend and I have! We have two cats, a Syrian hamster, and a fish, and she made sure every one of them was well cared for. She followed their established feeding schedules, spent time playing with our cats, and was extremely reliable throughout the entire process. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing all of our pets were in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend Rose to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Schedule
I am currently on clinical rotations so my schedule changes every 4 weeks. This is something I want to fit in when I have time because pets deserve the world. I will say I’m available unless I can provide your pet my full attention.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a friendly dog at home who is comfortable with large and small dogs. He is very social. Although I don’t currently have my own yard my appartment had a beautiful dog park! My dog and I go on two walks a day rain or shine. If it’s summer and we go later than 8am I have him wear boots to protect him from hot pavement. I like to practice training with him and taking him to the dog park.

I can essentially meet anyone’s pets daily needs! Things I do sometimes with my dog to make his days special. *Neighborhood walks or nature trail adventures * Fetch, frisbee, or tug-of-war * Snuffle mat or treat scavenger hunts * Puzzle toys and enrichment games * Basic obedience practice (sit, stay, place, recall, leash manners) * Trick training (shake, spin, roll over, touch) * Frozen enrichment treats (with owner approval) * Car rides to a park or pet-friendly store (if the owner is comfortable) * Splash time with a sprinkler on hot days * Cuddles and relaxation time * Brush-outs and light grooming * Potty breaks tailored to their routine * Photo and video updates for owners
