About Rose B.

Safety, trust & environment
I believe in advocating for your cat or dog's autonomy. I am familiar with both dog and cat body language cues, and I respect those cues. In the context of house sitting for your pet, this means that if your pet doesn't want to be picked up, petted, or held, I will respect that. If I am out on a walk with your dog and a stranger wants to pet them, I am comfortable saying No. It's about your pets comfort and respecting their boundaries.
Information Rose B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any health or behavioral issues to look out for and if they have any allergies. I require a quick meet and greet before your first reservation, where I will assess your dog's comfortability with me and the situation, and ask you questions about your dog and their history. For the time being, I am not accepting any unaltered dogs (not spayed/neutered), dogs with a bite history of any kind, or dogs over 75 lbs who are dog or human reactive.
A typical day
I absolutely love taking dogs for walks. I have a bike with a trailer, for the pup that loves to sniff the air and watch the world go by, or one that needs a good run. We will have daily practice with basic obedience, enrichment games with treats, and most importantly, listen to your dog's cues about what they are feeling up to on any given day.

Pet care experience
I am currently in the process of moving to West Virginia. As long as this notice is up, I am accepting dog walking clients only! I have a lifelong experience of caring for dogs, cats, and chickens. As an adult, I have found a passion for providing my animals with enrichment, fulfilling their psychological needs as well as the physical. I have completed a course on dog body language, and took care of a special needs chicken for 4 years.
Cat care experience

Rose also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

Rose was absolutely amazing with my animals and the house was left immaculate.
