Hi! I’m Rosaria. I’ve had cats in my life for as long as I can remember, and over the years I’ve cared for so many different kinds: snuggly lap cats, shy rescues, wild kittens, senior sweethearts, and everything in between. I really believe that every cat has their own personality, and I always take the time to meet them where they’re at. I’ve watched cats with special diets, given medication when needed, and cared for older cats with gentle attention. One cat I regularly looked after wouldn’t touch wet food, so I prepped fresh meals for her like steamed fish or boiled chicken. I’m confident handling special dietary needs as well as regular dry food or standard wet food, whether it comes in cans or pouches. Whatever your cat is used to, I’ll make sure their routine stays consistent and stress-free. I also genuinely love spending time with cats. If your cat is playful, I’m happy to keep them engaged with whatever toys or enrichment you have. Catnip mice, wand toys, or puzzle feeders—I’ll make sure they stay active and entertained. Whether they’re energetic or just need a little stimulation, I always try to make sure they feel happy, safe, and seen. When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to follow your routines closely—feeding, playtime, medication, and any special needs. I respect your space and keep everything tidy, so your home feels just as comfortable as when you’re there. I give your pets plenty of attention, play, and affection to help them feel safe and happy while you’re away. If pets stay with me, I provide a calm and cozy environment with lots of love and care. I keep their usual schedule as much as possible to reduce stress and help them feel at home. Whether it’s playtime, naps, or meals, I make sure they get the attention they need and enjoy their stay. If a cat is anxious or scared, I always respect their space and approach them with gentle, calm energy to avoid adding stress. I use quiet voices, slow movements, and let the cat come to me on their own terms. Sometimes, just sitting quietly nearby or offering treats helps build trust and comfort.

Rosaria was amazing watching over my cat! He’s notoriously super shy to new people, but Rosaria really took the time to establish rapport with him. She’s very thorough, detailed, and will ask questions if she has any so I never felt worried while I was away. I came home to a tidy home and happy cat and will definitely be booking with her again.

Rosaria is an amazing sitter! Consistent, attentive, communicative and creative when engaging my cats who have very different personalities. Her updates were always detailed and thorough. I enjoyed my time away so much more because I knew my cats were in very good hands. I would love to work with Rosaria again next time we are out of town! 5/5 stars all around!

Schedule
I was just away for a few months abroad but now I am back in the city for the entire summer! I have a very flexible schedule as I am doing independent studies through my university.
- CatsRosaria can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- Every cat is different, and I want to stick to whatever they’re used to. Here’s what I usually ask: • Feeding schedule and what kind of food they eat • Any meds, allergies, or health stuff I should know • Litter box setup and cleaning routine • Their personality—shy, cuddly, playful, or more independent • Favorite toys or activities • What stresses them out (so I can avoid it) • Any house rules (like no furniture or closed-off rooms) • Vet info and emergency contacts • Anything else that helps me get to know them better Knowing these things helps me give them the best care possible and keep their routine feeling normal and stress-free.
