Shelter Volunteer&Loving DogSitter
New to Rover, but not new to dogsitting! I’ve loved dogs all my life and have over 10 years of experience walking and caring for pups. I volunteer regularly at an animal shelter, where I walk dogs of all temperaments, help with cleaning, and provide enrichment to keep them happy and engaged. A year ago, I rescued my own timid white Korean Jindo, and helping him gain confidence has given me a special understanding of shy or nervous dogs. Friends and rescues often say I have a way with pups, but really, I just love being around them! Whether it’s walking, boarding, or keeping them company, I’ll care for your dog like my own.

Rosana was such a great help in watching my sweet pup. She took him on multiple walks so he could get his energy out, and went above and beyond to clean up his mess due to an upset stomach. Her dog Lucas was also an awesome furry host who played with my dog and let him sleep in his bed. Thank you Rosana and Lucas for your hospitality! We are already looking forward to the next visit
Rose has been so good and kind to my Sunny. She takes care of her exactly as I ask and Sunny is absolutely thrilled whenever she spends time with her. She is also just a very friendly and kind person in general she's basically like family.

I’m a work-from-home pet parent, so I have lots of time and flexibility to dedicate to caring for dogs. My own rescue pup is part of my daily routine, we walk 5–8 miles every day, mixed with playtime, training, and enrichment. Adding another dog into that rhythm feels natural, whether it’s for walks, boarding, or companionship. Caring for dogs isn’t something I “fit in”, it’s already what my day revolves around!

In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family. I make sure they get plenty of exercise (long daily walks, playtime, and enrichment activities), along with a safe and comfortable space to relax. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, crate use if preferred, and any special needs they might have.

A typical day
I love keeping dogs active, happy, and engaged! Depending on your pup’s personality, that might mean long neighborhood walks or nature hikes (my own dog and I usually do 5–8 miles a day), playtime with toys, or fun enrichment games to keep their minds busy. For more timid or shy pups, I go at their pace, sometimes that’s gentle sniff walks, quiet cuddles, or confidence-building activities. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and has fun while in my care.
