Mealtimes happen as normal and I’ll check in about when / what treats are part of the existing routine, especially for pups or where this interplays with training. Lots of gentle but firm playtime (including introducing chew toys to help gently refocus a bitey puppy), and as many walks and/or as long garden playtime as is wanted. 🏠: Note, when daycaring at mine, our garden is a well walled roof garden, good for fresh air, but we’ll go for proper walks nearby in St Bartholomew’s Square, Bull Meadow and/or Flowerpots Park. ❕I do not offer overnight boarding 🤍

Information Rosalind S. would like to know about your pet

Let me know: 🐾What treats they like / are allowed in addition to their food 🐾 About when to anticipate nervous barks, types of situation to avoid e.g. being too close to other dogs, (and anything to note in their history that’ll help me give the best care) 🤍 🐾 Their take on playtime in parks - I’m very happy to keep them on a lead if preferred 🐾 Any special healthcare instructions 🐾 And whether you’d like me to take care of grooming/bathtime

A typical day

Playtime (whether indoors with tug’o’war and chew toys or outside with things to fetch), intercut with their usual number of walks. Followed by a wash/paws cleanup if you’ve suggested this, and perhaps a dentachew. Cuddles when it’s downtime.

Experienced puppy fosterer

Pet care experience

I am an Exeter local specialising in weekly walks and house sitting that protects your dog’s routine. I fostered pups (mostly chihuahua mixes and one part pitbull) while living in Mexico (2021-2024) before they went on to their forever homes. I’m used to both young and nervous/adjusting temperaments, and it was always amazing to hear how happy and well adjusted their new families found them. I also helped out with new litters of street dogs (feeding/cleaning and of course playtime) as I lived close to the animal sanctuary which was a dream come true. Every dog/pup’s personality is different and I know how to respond to a full range of barks, I love spending the day in the dog’s rhythm, being guided by walk (GPS always - keeping your fur baby on the lead if recommended, just let me know) and toilet times (responsible bagging of course comes with this territory!). In the UK I tend to look after friends’ dogs; mostly Labradors, Spaniels, Jack Russells and Cockapoos. I also regularly walk and sit for dogs in Exeter, and know some good leafy walks with low canine traffic, ideal for those who are happiest without meeting other dogs on our adventures. I’m very responsive in calls/texts/whatsapp, and either put playtime first or simply provide a safe atmosphere where all their wellbeing needs are met.

Max had a lovely day with Ros. She was on time, relaxed and attentive to his needs, with plenty of communication through the day, which meant I could relax. Thank you Ros

It was a wonderful having Rosalind step in at short notice to look after Hendrix our 6 month old pup. Rosalind was efficient, thorough, sensitive to our busy schedule and so caring for our pup. We had regular updates and he clearly was incredibly well looked after and in safe hands. The house was lovely and tidy when we got back, bedding washed and a very happy and content dog. Would highly recommend.

I met Ros with Gizmo and we had a good chat. Ros was very understanding of Gizmo's needs and asked important questions about him. I have no worries about leaving him in her care.
